Are you looking for a part-time job, volunteering or work experience to help develop your skills, gain experience, enhance your CV and to earn some money to supplement your studies?

Students from any programme or level of study are invited to attend the Edge Hill University Part-time Job, Volunteering and Work Experience Fair on Thursday 5th November 11am to 2pm, at the HUB where you can meet a wide range of organisations from various sectors looking to hire you for roles you can fit around your studies.

Here’s a quick breakdown to help you make the most of it:

What you will find at the fair

  • Employers and organisations from various sectors offering flexible roles that fit around your studies.
  • Opportunities for all students, regardless of programme or level.
  • Networking chances to connect with recruiters and organisations from a variety of industries.

How to get started

  • Research the organisations that are attending to find out more about what they do and what roles they have to offer
  • Update your CV and ensure that you include all your current education, volunteering and any activities that you may be involved in outside of university.
  • Visit the Careers page at Edge Hill University to book your appointment if you would like advice about attending the fair and what to expect.

Why should I attend?

  • Ask employers anything and get advice on how to apply for their roles
  • Speak to the Student Life Team about their Free Interview Clothing scheme which is available for you to access.
  • Get advice from the Careers team during the event. Importantly offering tips on what to ask employers, which employers you should meet and much more.
