Parents, carers and supporters
To support parents, carers and supporters of both pre-16 and post-16 students considering Higher Education, the Education Liaison Team offer many activities, resources and events which cover the key aspects of higher education.
Online resources
As well as working with schools and colleges to deliver face to face activities, we also offer virtual support for parents and carers of students looking to enter Higher Education.

Events
Edge Hill University is committed to ensuring that parents and carers receive the most up to date and topical information about Higher Education.
Throughout the year, Edge Hill runs ‘Supporting the Supporters’ twilight events for parents, carers and supporters of students in Year 9 to Year 13. The twilight events are designed to provide attendees with relevant information about Higher Education for both themselves and their families.
All attendees are be able to choose from a range of informal sessions to attend, including topics such as Student Finance and Student Support. Attendees also have the opportunity to go on a campus tour of Edge Hill University, as well as speak to staff about the range of courses that Edge Hill offers.
A buffet and refreshments is provided for all attendees.
