International Summer School 2024

Social activities

Each week different activities are available for you to take part in during the evening such as quizzes, cinema trips and bowling. Full day excursions are provided during your stay to various historical and cultural places of interest, for example the magnificent castle of Conwy in Wales or the Jorvik Viking Centre in York, as well as trips to the local vibrant city of Liverpool and historical Chester.

Course duration & Dates

Courses are run as either a two week or four week block*

All courses will run between 8th July and the 2nd August

Block 1 – Monday 8th July to Friday 19th July (arrival 6th/7th July and departure 20th/21st July)
Block 2 – Monday 22nd July to Friday 2nd August (arrival 20th/21st July and departure 3rd/4th August)
Full Programme – Monday 8th July to Friday 2nd August (arrival 6th/7th July and departure 3rd/4th August)

Airport pick-up/drop-off offered from Manchester or Liverpool airports for those arriving on our designated arrival dates of 6th/7th July or 20th/21st July and designated departure dates of the 20th/21st July or 3rd/4th August

* Biology available as a 4 week full programme only.

Cost

The Summer School is £600 per week*

The price includes:

  • all tuition
  • airport transfers from Manchester or Liverpool airport**
  • a range of social activities and cultural visit
  • welcome and farewell events.

Accommodation is £150 per week

The price includes

  • Single, en-suite on-campus room
  • Wifi
  • Shared, fully equipped kitchen

*£500 per week if on a Faculty led programme
**Set arrival dates only.
