Enterprise Modules for Faculty of Arts and Sciences Students

If you are studying within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, you can take advantage of bespoke enterprise-focused modules offered by the Business School. These can be selected as optional modules to help you develop entrepreneurial skills alongside your main subject area.

Year 1: BUS1054 – New Venture Creation

Perfect for: Students with an idea or an interest in starting a business but who are at the very early stages. Build the foundations of entrepreneurship. This module helps you develop an entrepreneurial mindset, explore and shape your ideas, recognise opportunities, and learn the basics of business planning and concept development.

Year 2: BUS2229 – Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Perfect for: Students with a clear idea they want to refine and develop further. Take your ideas to the next level by exploring innovation processes and opportunity evaluation. Learn how to develop products or services and understand the external factors that influence enterprise, preparing you to grow and strengthen your concept.

Year 3: BUS3079 – Enterprise Management

Perfect for: Students ready to put their idea into action and run a business venture. Focus on the practical execution of enterprise. This module covers business models, strategy, financing, leadership, pitching, and legal and ethical considerations to help you launch and manage your business effectively.
