Staff practitioners

The role will entail leading the provision of Lawyers Skills and / or Advanced Lawyers Skills which involves delivering lectures and workshops pertaining to working in legal practice in roles such as Solicitor, Barrister and Chartered Legal Executive. The successful candidate(s) will ensure that the modules conform to requirements of the legal profession and provide an excellent insight into working in the legal profession.

The roles arise from our wish to strengthen and further develop our links with the legal profession and ensure our law courses are at the cutting edge of Higher Education. With this in mind the successful candidate(s) will play a key consultative role in developing our law provision to ensure that it conforms with the requirements of the Solicitors Qualification Exams (SQE). The successful candidate(s) would also be expected to contribute to our employability strategy.
