Facilities

Academics, Post-Doctoral Research Assistants, Graduate Teaching Assistants and PhD researchers have access to cutting-edge facilities. This includes state-of-the-art software (MATLAB, SolidWorks, and others), hardware (tensile tester, electrical motors, signal generators, oscilloscopes), and e-journals including IEEE subscription, the University’s Research Repository (PURE), and the ethics monitoring system HAPLO.

The Department of Engineering has a growing community of researchers undertaking investigative projects in a range of areas of engineering. We operate under a university research governance and ethics framework.
