You’ll learn how technology is reshaping modern organisations and providing the skills to translate complex data into strategic, evidence-based decisions.
You’ll benefit from a dedicated AI module where you’ll explore responsible and strategic use of AI applications across business functions. You’ll develop a critical understanding of how AI and business analytics can drive operational efficiency, market development, and business model innovation. We’ll help you develop analytical capabilities and gain the confidence to lead and shape AI-driven strategies and data-led decision making within diverse organisational contexts.
With employability at its core, this course will enable you to put this theory into practice. Through our Management Consultancy Project, you’ll apply your strategic leadership and cross-disciplinary thinking to a real organisational challenge while building both academic credibility and tangible, practical impact. You’ll work with a real organisation, build professional networks, and produce applied research for your portfolio.

What you'll study
Throughout the programme, you’ll develop essential knowledge, skills and behaviours across key areas of Global Business Administration.
A strong focus is placed on the analysis, application and implementation of strategic management theory, alongside the development of leadership and business analysis skills.
Critical insight into AI and business analytics is combined with the research skills needed to undertake an independent project. Core financial systems that underpin effective decision‑making are explored, together with the principles of creating and managing brands to build customer value and brand equity.
Global trends are critically analysed to develop strategic insights for managing business in an international environment. Learning is applied throughout the programme through a practice‑based project focused on a real organisational challenge.
Throughout the programme, you will develop essential knowledge, skills and behaviours across a range of key areas within the field of Global Business Administration.
How you'll study
Sessions will be delivered via workshops, seminars and lectures.
How you'll be assessed
The course utilises a variety of summative assessment methods including academic critical essays, simulations, case studies, reports, group presentations and portfolios.
Who will be teaching you
All modules are delivered by experienced lecturers and professors who have research specialism and/or professional experience in their subject matter.

Entry criteria
A degree equivalent to a UK lower second class (2:2) honours degree in any discipline.
Candidates with a lower honours degree attainment may be admitted where they provide evidence of experience and/or prior learning at the discretion of the department
Candidates may be invited to an interview. Candidates are encouraged to make contact with the Department/ Course Leader to discuss the requirements and expectations of postgraduate study specific to the programme.
English language requirements
International students require IELTS 6.5, with a score no lower than 6.0 in each individual component, or an equivalent English language qualification.

A stunning £8million building provides impressive teaching and learning facilities for students in Edge Hill Business School.
The contemporary three-storey building offers a 100-seat lecture theatre and modern seminar and meeting rooms. There are also social learning areas which encourage a more informal and interactive style of learning, in addition to an attractive roof garden and atrium.
