Your Operating Department Practice offer holder day

In this interactive session, you’ll get to spend some time in our operating theatre. Our students will demonstrate how to move a patient safely from the patient trolley onto the operating table, and show you how to position them. Then you’ll get to have a go yourself.

As well as this, you’ll observe how to scrub up for a procedure. And then put what you’ve learned into practice.

Once this is complete, you’ll work alongside the operative team to handle surgical instruments, as well as learn more about prep and drape techniques.
