What next?

There are lots of important things you will need to do to ensure that your transition to University runs smoothly. Please make a note of the key dates below, and make sure you know what your offer means along with our stance on unconditional offer making.

Key dates

JanuaryOffers or invitations to interview will begin to be made. Keep track of your status on UCAS Track.
Once you have made Edge Hill University your Firm Choice on UCAS, you will be eligible to apply for on-campus accommodation - look out for an email from our Accommodation Team. Find out more about our halls of residence, and the application process here.
FebruaryFind out more about the course(s) you have applied for, and see what it would be like to be a student at Edge Hill by attending an Applicant Visit Day. These invite only events are for applicants who have been offered a place on a course that doesn't interview or audition.
MarchApply for Student Finance. We strongly recommend applying for financial support as early as possible to ensure your money is in place at the beginning of term.
If you submitted your application to UCAS by Wednesday 15 January, you should hear back from all the universities you applied to by the end of March.
MayApply for Student Finance. We strongly recommend applying for financial support as early as possible to ensure your money is in place at the beginning of term.
JuneIf you received all your decisions by 31 March, the deadline to make your Firm and Insurance choices on UCAS Track is 18 June.
Applicants will be emailed a link to the Getting Started website which provides important information about enrolment, moving into halls of residence and pre-course information.

JulyThe deadline for applying for on-campus accommodation is Friday 31 July at 4pm. Firm applicants will be sent an email inviting them to apply.

Communication

During the admissions process, we will communicate with you using the details you have provided on your application form, including your email address. If your email address changes, please contact us at think@edgehill.ac.uk 

Fees

The tuition fees for your programme have been outlined in your offer letter. If you wish to query your status, please contact us at admissions@edgehill.ac.uk

Cooling off period

If you change your mind about accepting your offer at Edge Hill University, there is a 14 day cooling off period at two points; from the date you accept your offer and from when you register at University. On either occasion, if you change your mind within 14 days, you will be released from your place.

Your programme of study

Information about your chosen degree programme can be found here.

There may be other costs associated with your study or that are individual to your circumstances such as studying abroad or choosing to purchase your own copies of textbooks otherwise available in the University Library.

In the rare circumstance that it is necessary to make changes to your programme, you will be consulted and changes will be notified by email. Further details are set out in our Student Communications Plan and our Refund Policy which can be found on our Student Terms and Conditions pages.
