We recommend the best place start would be to let us know whether you’ll be able to attend your interview or audition.
You’ll need to reply to your invitation on UCAS if you are interviewing/auditioning for:
an undergraduate course excluding the University Higher Diploma (UHD)
How do I change the date and or time of my interview?
To change the date and time of your interview you’ll need to ring 01695 650950 or email into [email protected] with the email subject line Interview/Audition change of Date/Time and your phone number as this will help our Admissions Team action the request as soon as possible
Do I need to have/bring anything with me?
For all interviews/auditions please have to hand your original photographic ID (i.e. current valid passport or photo-card driving licence). Your ID will be checked prior to the start of the process. If you do not have suitable ID on the day, you may not be able to take part in the interview and will have to reschedule for an alternative date. If you have any questions about your ID please contact our Admissions Team via email to [email protected] prior to your online interview. Please note each course may ask for additional items to be brought/have with you please check your course specific guidance for further instructions.
Will I need to prepare anything?
The short answer is yes. You’ll need to prepare yourself for the type of interview/audition you have been invited to which you can do by reading our handy tips. Then there will also be course specific tasks/information that you’ll need to look over so that you’re well prepared for success at your interview.
What happens if I experience technical difficulties during my online interview?
Don’t worry. Email [email protected] with the email subject line Interview technical difficulties this will allow our Admissions Team to respond to this as soon as possible.
Can I access additional support?
Applicants with disabilities or learning difficulties should note that the decision to offer a place on a course is made only on the selection criteria outlined on the interview guidance pages. However, you should note the following:
If you normally have additional time for examinations or tests, or large font type, or any other specific arrangements, please inform the Admissions Office by completing the online form. Please provide a copy of your LA ‘statement’ or a letter from your school, college or employer to confirm that additional time for tests is a requirement. If you require a BSL interpreter, it is important that you tell us about this and that you allow at least 5 working days for us to locate one for you. Unfortunately, there is a very limited supply of suitably qualified BSL interpreters and, therefore, the demand for these is high.

When will I receive my online joining link?
When you will receive your joining link will vary depending on the course your online interview is for. You’ll be able to find further guidance on your course specific preparation page.
Who do I contact if I haven’t received my online joining link?
Please refer to your course specific preparation page as this will include the contact information for the team you’ll need to get in touch with.
Will my online interview be recorded?
In the event that we will be recording your online interview for training and monitoring purposes, and we require your consent to do so – your interviewer will ask for your verbal consent at the start of the interview. The recording of your online interview will be stored according to the Edge Hill University GDPR policies.
What happens after?
Following your interview/audition we’ll let you know the result as soon as possible this tends to be within 10-20 working day for the majority of courses.
