Choosing a university is a big decision, and it’s okay to change your mind. At Edge Hill, we’ll support you every step of the way, and UCAS Extra gives you another chance to find the university and course that’s right for you.
- UCAS Extra is another opportunity for you to gain a place at university or college, between 26 February and 4 July 2025, at no extra cost.
- If you’ve used all five of your choices on your original application and you’re not holding an offer, you’ll be able to add another choice using UCAS Extra.

Who can use UCAS Extra?
You can apply for an extra choice through UCAS Extra if:
Applying through UCAS Extra
On the UCAS website, you can add an extra choice if you’re eligible.
In the ‘Your choices’ section, click ‘Add an extra choice’ and enter the details of your chosen university and course. Your application will then be sent to the university.
Before making any changes to your UCAS choices, contact our Admissions Team. Share your academic background and the course you’re interested in through UCAS Extra, and we’ll confirm your eligibility.
If you already have an offer elsewhere, you’ll need to decline it before applying to Edge Hill via UCAS Extra on UCAS Hub.
