Students nominate Edge Hill University for two Whatuni Student Choice Awards

March 15, 2023

Edge Hill University has been shortlisted for two coveted Whatuni Student Choice Awards (WUSCA), with nominations based solely on student feedback.

The University has been shortlisted in the best Halls and Student Accommodation, and Facilities categories.

WUSCA’s student-led approach means that shortlisted universities are uniquely recognised by students for delivering an exceptional experience and are based on approximately 35,000 verified reviews collected by them.

Edge Hill’s Vice-Chancellor Dr John Cater said: “It’s a huge honour to be shortlisted based on the feedback of our students. It’s a clear testament to our steadfast focus on providing the very best university experience.

“I’d like to extend my thanks and congratulations to all of the staff who put students at the heart of everything we do, and of course our students, who collectively make us one of the very best places to study, live and work.”

Director of Facilities Management Adrian McGillion added: “The entire Facilities Management team work flat out to make sure our students have somewhere to live and study that is home from home, comfortable, beautiful and safe where they feel a sense of belonging. Just being shortlisted for these awards shows how successful our work has been.”

The WUSCAs is the only Higher Education awards ceremony in the UK where institutions are solely judged and reviewed by students themselves.

This year’s Whatuni Student Choice Awards winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 26 April. For further information visit the IDP Connect website.
