As part of a wider initiative to improve parking and access management on campus, Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras have been installed across our Ormskirk campus.
Any vehicles parked on campus without prior authorisation and registration may be subject to penalty charges..
It is your responsibility to ensure you have provided the correct vehicle registration details.

Handy tips before you apply:
- Make sure you are entering the correct vehicle registration
- Check for any typing errors
- Understand vehicle registration format i.e. letters and numbers are in the correct place (not typing an ‘11’ plate vehicle as ‘ii’ or using the number ‘0’ instead of the letter ‘O’)
Parking at The University is extremely limited so to support our staff and our Travel Plan, the University retains a small daily allocation of 20 spaces to accommodate individual visitors attending on business, however, demand will undoubtedly outstrip supply.
- This is on a first come, first served basis. Once 20 spaces are full on that date, additional requests will not be accepted.
- Visitor parking is for visitors to the University ONLY. Staff are not permitted to reserve parking spaces for themselves.
- No member of staff will be allowed to reserve more than 5 spaces on a single day.
Please use the booking system to request a visitor parking slot. Please note that the default arrival time is set at 9am, but in the questions you are required to detail arrival and departure time.
