Parking at The University is extremely limited and, to support our Travel Plan, we give priority to staff, students and Car Sharers. The University retains a small daily allocation of 20 spaces to accommodate individual visitors attending on business, however, demand will undoubtedly outstrip supply.

Active Directory

Windows Terminal Server Login. A network login is available to all registered students, eligible members of staff and some external partners (by arrangement). Access Active Directory is used by users who login to the Edge Hill network. Requests for access to the service should be made via the IT Service Desk this would be in the form of a new user registration request. Admissions Online

Admissions Online is a portal which presents UCAS and GTTR application forms electronically. It allows academic and administrative staff to make decisions and assign feedback to the applicants, which feeds in to the Admissions Web Portal and indicates which decisions need to be included in the next UCAS export. This is an online database which requires only an internet browser to run. Access to this service is granted via the Admissions team. This service is available off-site. Authentication is by means of your network username and password although access must be granted by Admissions department.

Clearing portal

This system enables Clearing Assistants and Admissions tutors to admit and communicate with new Clearing enquiries and applicants. Access to this system is only granted after the member of staff has been on the associated training session facilitated by Admissions staff and so access is entirely managed within Admissions.

Collaborative Planning is a budget forecast tool. Collaborative Planning enables data to be extracted from an existing financial system (eFinancials) to be used in the budget creation and control process. The results of the budget or forecast exercise can be exported back to the integrated financial system.

The Faculty of Health and Social Care Web Portal Service where you will find a range of reports and input screens to: record applicant and student information, obtain marksheets for Faculty of Health students, run statistical analysis

Pre-Entry Advice and Guidance Database

Allows staff within Admissions to track unsuccessful applications and provide advice for ongoing successful recruitment. The system records interventions and communications and facilitates reports.

Law Clinic

Administered by the Law school administrator and allows staff/students to request free legal advice from third year law students (supervised by a qualified member of staff). The booking form may be asked to be switched on and off at various times throughout the year: please note that this request is actioned within the Business Solutions team. Queries arising from the sign-up page are generally handled by the Law School administrator and forwarded on when necessary. Queries concerning the application itself will come directly from the Law School.
