EditShare – Media Asset Management

EditShare is an industry standard media asset management (MAM) storage system, specifically designed to store media assets ingested from Edge Hill’s television studios, along with file based content acquired from media cameras.

Media students automatically gain access to this dedicated system when enrolled on a media specific course. Access for students and Department of Media staff is via network user name and password. EditShare allows students to collaborate on projects, from ingest to the final programme, linking seamlessly from the television studios to specialist media editing spaces on the Ground Floor and First Floor within the Creative Edge Building.
