Biography

Jennifer Waldron is a Lecturer in Nurse Education at Edge Hill University. Formerly a nurse within the NHS, where she worked for 15 years in a variety of roles including practice education, cardiology, medical emergency team and bed management.

Jennifer is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as an Adult Nurse.  She achieved a DipHE in Nursing Studies (2002), BSc Professional Practice (2018), PGCE Health Professions Education (2021) and is currently working towards an MA Clinical Education.  She is also a Fellow of Advance HE. 

Research interests include: nursing apprenticeships, interprofessional education, simulation and Nursing Associates.  She is Deputy year of study lead for NUR2010 on the Nursing Associate programme and Leads on Simulation and Safety Intervention training for the programme.
