Profile
Biography
My existing research portfolio is based around two areas. Firstly, I have published the results of a large scale study focusing on the relationship between customer management and business growth in small and medium sized enterprises (SME’s). The research focused on both the systems and behaviors that assist SME’s to maximise the opportunity for growth.
My research now is firmly located within the area of work design. In particular the investigation of how teams alter the architecture of their work to achieve mutually beneficial organizational and team based outcomes. My main focus is on identifying the major contextual factors that enable teams to adjust their immediate environment. I also have a keen interest in applying theories of team effectiveness in the class room to enhance student learning.
