Explore the North West

While you have everything you need on campus, there’s also lots to explore in the surrounding areas. Our campus is nestled in the heart of the North West of England, surrounded by both countryside and big bustling cities.
Whether you want a walk in nature, a visit to the beach or to experience the vibrant nightlife of Liverpool and Manchester you can easily explore via car or public transport. The International Team even organises trips so you can experience the North West while making new friends along the way.
“Outside the academics, the events made my experience even more memorable. Once the International Office organized a trip to Conwy, Wales for all the international students. As an international student, this was an incredibly memorable and enriching experience. It gave me the chance to explore a part of the UK I might not have visited otherwise, and it offered a fascinating glimpse into the country’s history and culture. Walking along the medieval walls of Conwy Castle and taking in the breath taking views of the town and surrounding countryside was truly unforgettable. It was amazing to see such a well-preserved piece of history up close.”
