Ormskirk Market
Ormskirk Market is one of the country’s oldest and most traditional street markets, dating back to 1286. It takes place every Thursday and Saturday, with up to 100 stalls in the town centre.
Market stalls sell food, clothing, books, flowers, home furnishings, and much more. There really is something for everyone with a buzzing atmosphere throughout the day.
Natterjack Alpacas

Martin Mere
Martin Mere has over 70 wetland species from across the globe. Take a walk around the amazing scenery and see flamingos, otters, spoonbills, common cranes, southern screamers, and a wide variety of ducks, geese and swans.
Ruff Wood
Ruff Wood is a haven for wildlife and an ideal spot for quiet walks and contemplation.
The wood covers 19 acres of mixed woodland on the east side of Ormskirk, and was donated to the council in 1912 by a local benefactor.
