The new Masters degree course is validated and delivered by Edge Hill University and influenced by its sector-leading academic research and teaching.
Dr Helen O’Keeffe, Associate Dean of Edge Hill’s Faculty of Education, said: “Edge Hill is one of the largest providers of teacher training in the country and is at the forefront of developing the next generation of teaching professionals.
“We are proud to be offering this program in the heart of Burnley and delighted to be partnering with Burnley College. This partnership opens up new opportunities for the local community. It is ideal for those with an interest in education or currently working as a teacher but who may not want to or travel long distances for their postgraduate experience.”
