Calling all Edge Hill PGRs! The Inaugural PGR Palooza is here!

Exciting news! We’re thrilled to announce The Inaugural Edge Hill PGR Palooza, a one-day event designed specifically for YOU, our amazing postgraduate researchers. We heard your feedback loud and clear: you’re hungry for conference and networking experience. So, we’ve created this event to provide a platform to showcase your research, hone your researcher skills, and connect with fellow academics in a supportive and encouraging environment.

What to expect

You can expect to:

  • share your research: Submit a presentation focused on the originality of your project. It’s your chance to impress, gain valuable feedback, and boost your presentation skills.
  • develop key skills: Participate in workshops and discussions designed to equip you with essential researcher skills, from communication and collaboration to impact and dissemination.
  • network with peers and academics: Mingle with other PGRs, faculty members, and industry professionals, expanding your network and building valuable connections.

  • Submission deadline for presentations: April 8th, 2024
  • Registration deadline: April 27th, 2024
  • Palooza date: May 30th, 2024

Call for abstracts

The call for abstracts is now open. We welcome proposals for paper presentations on the conference’s theme of Originality. Please submit your proposal via the application form, attaching a completed abstract template.

Graduate School are holding an online Researcher Development Session on Presenting at Academic Conferences on 13th March at 2pm, which all PGRs and staff are welcome to attend.
