Reflective Practice is a cornerstone of the health professions, but can we make it more meaningful?

The conference, which will take place in the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine, will explore the challenge of Reflective Practice for health professions and how we can make it more meaningful. There will be several internal and external keynote speakers and two workshops of your choice, including options on how to develop your understanding about the self and others, as well as developing reflective judgement in students and as an educator.

The day will explore four key themes:

  • How Reflective Practice is essential for flourishing as an individual and professional in a complex world.
  • How to develop thinking in Reflective Practice that facilitates greater understanding of the self and the wider system of practice.
  • How to implement action in Reflective Practice, with consideration of the self and the wider system of practice.
  • How to develop meaningful Reflective Practice in others across the educational continuum, from undergraduate to postgraduate and CPD.

A certificate of attendance for CPD will be provided.
