This online reading group discusses Alison Clark’s latest book on slow knowledge.
Author and researcher Alison Clark will be joining us for this online reading group event. You do not have to have read the book to come along. In these discussions we will think about the acceleration of childhood and the benefits of taking slower paths to knowledge and understandings. If you are a member of staff or student, her work is available as an eBook from our Library Services. Our focus in this meeting will be on chapter one, Accelerated Childhoods, for the November session and we have a second session planned for 12 December 2023, where we look at chapter 3, Play Time.
