Research Catalyst are running a series of sessions focusing on research developed by Library and Learning Services and academics in various departments at Edge Hill University.
Research Catalyst event programme
4:30pm – refreshments.
5pm – opening address by John Cater, Vice-Chancellor of Edge Hill University, and prize giving for the Think Creative Archive competition with a demonstration of the winning submissions.
5:20pm – ‘Women in the Archive’ – The women who studied at Edge Hill 1885-1909 – Professor Alyson Brown, Dan Copley and Jack Bennett.
6:15pm – break (with cake) and a tour of the Edge Hill archives exhibitions in Hale Hall.
7pm – ‘A Story of the Great War: An audio-visual animation project’ – demonstrates work on a First World War Diary – Professor Helen Newall.
End 8pm.
