CPSS is pleased to welcome you to the latest in its research seminar series with a presentation entitled “(‘Re)imagining sport in Lithuania: Young people’s promotion of safe sporting spaces”. This presentation will showcase an innovative research project led by Dr Laura Purdy of Edge Hill’s Department of Sport and Physical Activity that sought to understand youth athletes’ views on ‘safe sport’ in Lithuania and their experiences of developing materials to promote ‘safe sport’ in their country.

The presentation will feature a video of the project and an outline of its findings followed by a Q&A with the project team, Dr Purdy, Dr Rutenis Paulauskas of Vytautas Magnus University in Lithuania, and Dr Mel Lang of Edge Hill University.

This free event will take place online and is open to all
