In his inaugural lecture, Professor Gershan Davis will talk about his clinical and academic career – from the University of West Indies to Edge Hill via London, Harvard and even the top of New Zealand’s volcanic island Rangitoto.
Professor Davis’s strong desire to combine further knowledge acquisition with travel was part of the reason why he chose to study medicine. Through his inaugural Professor Gershan will discuss his experiences of studying, working and travelling across different countries and systems.
He will also reveal more about the process of scaling Rangitoto, in what promises to be a fascinating story.
