Medical School Seminar: Haematology, a highly specialised multi professional service based in a major teaching hospital supporting tertiary care, primary care, general practice and wider community practice
Join Dr Raef Dahab, Consultant in Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Medicine and senior lecturer in EHU Medical School, in the second episode of the Medical School Evening Seminars series, where he will be joined by Dr Khowla Hashaishi, Consultant Haematologist and Catherine Redshaw, highly specialised clinical nurse specialist in Haematology. The seminar will cover:
- An overview of what a Haematology service in a major hospital can offer
- Links with primary care, GPs and community services
- Common challenges including diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients
This seminar is aimed at all qualified healthcare professionals and students. It will take place in the Main Building on our Ormskirk Campus. There will also be an option to join online. Further details will be sent out closer to the time to those who have registered their place.
Registration and refreshments from 5:30pm. Seminar will commence at 6pm. Close at 8pm.
