Join us to celebrate local Black-owned businesses selling arts, crafts, food, drink, jewellery, beauty and healthcare products.  

This event celebrating Black History Month (BHM) will also involve free authentic Ethiopian food supplied by Abyssinia Kitchen, and traditional Ghanaian dance and drum performances from Movema.

Edge Hill student , Claire Beerjeraz  will also perform a spoken word piece based on this year’s Black History theme of reclaiming narratives. She has just completed her MSc at Edge Hill University, in Counselling and Psychotherapy: Creative Contemporary Creative Approaches, with hopes of pursuing a PHD in the upcoming year to further explore her current research.

She strives to use her creative mediums and academia for activism and positive change.
