Institute for Social Responsibility

Join us to celebrate the achievements and landmarks of Edge Hill’s Institute for Social Responsibility (and its predecessor I4P), as it is reimagined as the Centre for Social Responsibility (CSR) Research.

On the 12th, there will be a buffet lunch and a chance to meet the outgoing ISR fellows, members of the External Advisory group (EAG) and new members of the Centre, including the new Director and Associate Director.

Following this, Prof Jo Crotty, Director of ISR, will briefly chart ISR (and I4P’s) journey before handing over to Dr Victoria Foster, the new Director of CSR, and the current Associate Director of ISR, to introduce the new centre.

We will then hear from our key note speaker, and one of ISR’s most enthusiastic contributors and patrons, Professor Victor Merriman, who will speak on the topic of ‘Enabling Human Flourishing: an ethical purpose for Social Responsibility’.
