The University needs to collect and process personal data in order to meet statutory requirements, function effectively as an educational institution and provide students with the support they require while undertaking their studies. This notice explains how the University collects, uses and shares personal data relating to current and former students (‘you’/’your’) and your rights in relation to the processing of your personal data.
Surprising Terms
Information you disclose about challenges you are facing in your studies or your wider student life may be shared with appropriate staff or services internally to ensure that you can be offered support. If you do not wish for this information to be shared, you should make this clear at the point of disclosure. Please be aware however, that limiting the sharing of information may limit the support we are able to provide.
