2022 Challenges and Controversies in Religion

In 2022 the Summer School became residential and the theme was Challenges and Controversies in Religion. 14 teachers were able to join us for a fully residential experience where they engaged with the latest research from Academics at Edge Hill University (and Bob Bowie from CCCU/NICER).  They were able to develop their subject knowledge and spend time, with a designated Academic Tutor/Supervisor, but also importantly independently using the time, space and resources of the campus to develop a range of projects. We visited the Preston Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Liverpool Empire to watch The Book of Mormon.

We are pleased to share two projects from the Summer school which may be of use to the wider RE community.
