Meet the team
Find out more about the Accommodation Team, including your appropriate point of contact and how to get in touch.
Alongside the Accommodation Manager, the team consists of three dedicated accommodation officers who manage the residential areas in three groups. This allows us to be more visible, accessible, and proactive in addressing any issues or concerns raised by our students during their time here.
Our job is to be there to give you guidance and signposting of support when necessary. We are there to help you chase any maintenance queries, manage low level disputes with a focus on de-escalation, as well as monitoring the condition of the halls of residence. We are a friendly team, keen to ensure your time at Edge Hill University is a positive one, where you feel supported and most importantly at home.
Before you join us, you will likely meet us at open days and offer holder days where you will get a chance to ask us many questions about what it’s like to live at Edge Hill.

A dad to three, all of whom have been away to different universities, so I am often acting from personal experience when being able to help, advise and support students, parents, and sponsors with a variety of accommodation related issues. From taking calls, answering emails and being available at open days & offer holder days on campus, I ensure that I provide as complete a support service to you as I can. Away from Edge Hill I’m a huge music fan, a miserable Everton supporter and enjoy taking the dog out for a walk to forget about the footy.
A long-standing Edge Hill employee, I have worked in various departments, finding my home in accommodation. My connections across the university have been vital in accomplishing our new patch-based approach and I am keen to help my students succeed. I hold weekly drop ins for you to come and chat with me regarding any concerns that may arise during your time here. You will often see me across the campus easily identifiable by my pink and purple hair. I will be sure to check by your buildings from time to time to catch up and make sure you’re happy. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, felting, cycling, cold-water swimming and socialising with my many friends.
A dad to three girls, I joined Edge Hill for a change after many years in estate agency. My knowledge of the property industry has been invaluable in implementing our patch approach across the university. I am always happy to help my students while they’re living on campus. You can catch me at my weekly drop ins to ask for guidance and support. I will often pop into your buildings to check on how things are going. I’m a long-suffering Everton fan and spend most of my spare time trying to entertain three young children. When I’m not doing this, I enjoy walking and spending time outdoors
As a mum to one, local to the university and a past student, it felt natural to come back and work for Edge Hill after some years as a teacher. I am keen to make a difference and offer a more holistic approach to patch based working. I am available for weekly drop ins which is dedicated time for you to come and speak to me regarding any issues you may be having in your halls of residence. You will see me around campus, and I will call in your building on occasion to ensure that your time here is going smoothly. In my spare time I like to bake, hike, practice photography, listen to music and watch my daughter play football.
