Discover – What can I do with my degree?

Many of our law students go on to work in the legal sector as solicitors, barristers, paralegals, chartered legal executives and beyond. However, as a law graduate our students have also gone on to a range of careers such as, an accounts associate; teacher; HR adviser; police officer; prison officer; management roles; even a rugby league referee!  As there are lots of options, it can be difficult deciding, so this guide and the careers team can help. Remember, you can also explore careers that don’t directly relate to your degree. Did you know that over 80% of graduate employers will recruit from any degree discipline?

Develop – Developing skills and experience

If you already have some career ideas, the next step will be to develop your skills and gain some experience to build your confidence and increase your knowledge.
