The Arts Centre houses the University’s Department of Creative Arts and the Rose and Studio theatres. We host a diverse range of high quality professional productions, including comedy, dance, drama, literature, music, film, live theatre screenings, and family-friendly shows. All designed to entertain students as well as local and regional communities.

How to book tickets
You can book full price, over 60s, under 16s ticket(s), family, student and Edge Hill University student tickets, using our secure online booking facility. From the What’s On, click on the performance that you would like to see, and then choose the ‘Book Tickets’ link. You can then select your seat (if reserved seating is offered) and buy your tickets online. There are no extra booking or postage charges for this facility.

For security reasons, please do not email credit/debit card numbers with your reservation.
You can book tickets for any performance over the phone by calling the Box Office. We accept all major debit/credit cards with no extra booking or postage charges for this facility. If no one is available, there is a 24 hour answer phone simply leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Please do not leave your debit/credit card details on the answerphone.

The Arts Centre Box Office is normally open between 12pm and 5:30pm Monday to Friday, and until 8pm on performance nights.
The Box Office is only open at weekends when there is a performance.
Concessionary tickets are available to students, over 60’s, ES40 holders, registered disabled people and children under the age of 16. You may be asked for relevant identification for concessionary tickets.
Tickets may be exchanged for another performance at the discretion of the Box Office. It is only possible to resell tickets via the Box Office once a performance is sold out.

EHU student membership scheme
Exclusively available to Edge Hill University students, The Arts Centre membership scheme is totally free and entitles our students to see free performances at The Arts Centre. Almost all of our shows can be booked for free on the student membership with only a few exceptions (please see current brochure for guidance).
All you have to do to get started is bring your student ID to the Box Office and sign up for the student membership scheme. You can start booking tickets straight away and students with memberships also get exclusive access to competitions and special offers straight to their email.
Register online or renew a membership
If you hold a membership and wish to renew it, please log in to your account before adding the item to your basket. Returning students can also renew existing memberships by logging in using the email address you originally registered with. Please be sure to tick ‘yes’ to receive emails so we can notify you of pre-sales and new events.
