This programme of work explores the professional learning, education, and development of sports workers. This includes the sources and situations through which practitioners learn, pedagogical practices of educators and developers, impacts of educational and professional development activities on learners, as well as factors that facilitate and constrain the professional learning and development of sports workers.

This project seeks to understand the reflective practices of sports practitioners, available approaches to reflective practice, as well as how reflective practice can be effectively used by educators and developers as a tool to encourage meaningful learning from applied placements and practical work experiences.
