The Tech Hub
Mathematics is based in the state-of-the-art Tech Hub. This purpose-built development offers outstanding contemporary facilities including our Harvard style lecture theatre. With specialist modern laboratories containing comprehensive test and measurement equipment, you’ll find high-specification computers, high-resolution screens and the latest hardware and software.

Before starting your studies, you could:

- Check out maths channels on YouTube like Numberphile
- Listen to maths podcasts like The Secrets of Mathematics
Supporting you
When you become a student here, you’ll be allocated a Personal Tutor. They will be your main source of support in your academic department. They’ll be with you as you progress throughout your degree, supporting you in three areas: professional/career-related support, pastoral support and signposting you to information you need. But they aren’t just there when you need support. They are also there to celebrate your successes, help with planning your progress and much more.
