Your Geography and Geology offer holder day

The activities you’ll take part in are similar to those that our first-year students experience. On the day, you’ll be asked to solve a Geo problem in a ‘mythical land’. You’ll use your knowledge of the subject to identify new gold mine sites for one of the ‘small’ people that inhabit this mythical land. You’ll also solve geopolitical issues that have developed between the communities due to a complex history and the various socioeconomic factors. Together you’ll find a solution to satisfy all – we hope so anyway, or else another chapter in the saga will be opened.
