Welcome to the subject area of religion, based within the Department of Secondary and Further Education. Our students progress into a variety of different careers, including teaching across the 11-19 age-phases, adult education, community learning and the public service sector. You will be taught by preeminent researchers who work at the forefront of the practice and theory of education.
Studying religion at Edge Hill introduces you to a world of thought concerning creation, life and beliefs. Faculty of Education
Whilst studying religion at Edge Hill, you will be based in the Faculty of Education’s state-of-the-art £9m building. Facilities include a 300-seat lecture theatre, five well-equipped ICT suites, and 18 teaching rooms complete with the latest technology.
The faculty has a strong commitment to practice-based learning and has developed partnerships with over 2,000 schools and colleges, local authorities and professional associations.
