We’re pleased to offer you a place on one of our Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre courses. Joining our Creative Arts department means that you’ll soon become an integral part of a vibrant, expressive and imaginative community. In addition to your chosen course discipline, you’ll be encouraged to explore behind the scenes career paths and flourish within other areas of the arts.

The Arts Centre

With two theatres, four studios and a number of practice rooms, this artistic hub is the perfect place to hone in on your talents, gain new skills and meet new people.

The Arts Centre also plays host to a diverse range of professional performances throughout the year, from comedy nights and dance shows, to family-friendly performances.

Our outstanding resources ensure you gain practical experience to professional standard. Contemporary performance environments include dance studios, black box drama studios, rehearsal rooms, a theatre construction workshop, costume construction workshop, scene dock, theatre design studios, music practice studios, a recital room and an outdoor amphitheatre.

Supporting you

When you become a student here, you’ll be allocated a Personal Tutor. They will be your main source of support in your academic department. They’ll be with you as you progress throughout your degree, supporting you in three areas: professional/career-related support, pastoral support and signposting you to information you need. But they aren’t just there when you need support. They are also there to celebrate your successes, help with planning your progress and much more.
