Our building features a large lecture theatre, small group teaching rooms, and a number of dedicated specialist laboratories including physical geography, geology and spatial and data science.

We also have a bespoke physical geography and environmental science teaching laboratory. The building houses well equipped analytical/research laboratories, a geo-technical engineering laboratory and a social area for students.

“I thought I couldn’t love geology any more than I did. But I’ve learned so much at Edge Hill, all the lecturers are amazing, and I’m incredibly grateful. I’ve learnt what area of geology I’m really interested in and that I want a career in volcanology.”
