Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre
If you’re studying in Ormskirk, you’ll be based in the innovative £14m Faculty of Health and Social Care building. The space includes leading edge clinical skills facilities, ten teaching rooms, an 860-seat lecture theatre and a number of social learning spaces.
The clinical skills and simulated learning facilities offer a variety of simulated environments from home, through primary and emergency care to secondary care and beyond. The space allows you to undertake practical scenarios in realistic settings.

St James’ Manchester
If you’re studying in Manchester, you’ll be based in St James’ which provides an extensive modern clinical simulation suite including a mock operating theatre, ambulance simulator and clinical skills stations.
A 3D immersive simulation suite also enables you to practice clinical scenarios in a realistic, supportive and safe environment.

Supporting you
When you become a student here, you’ll be allocated a Personal Tutor. They will be your main source of support in your academic department. They’ll be with you as you progress throughout your degree, supporting you in three areas: professional/career-related support, pastoral support and signposting you to the information you need. But they aren’t just there when you need support. They are also there to celebrate your successes, help with planning your progress and much more.
