Our Media degrees examine the relationship between media, culture and society, with the opportunity to combine this with media practice techniques including scriptwriting, camera work, podcasting and vlogging.
You can discover how the traditional media channels of radio, film and television have been revolutionised by social media, new communication formats and streaming platforms.
You will have the opportunity to conduct a large-scale moving image project (film or TV) as part of a small team. Optional modules also enable you to tailor your degree to your own interests, exploring topics from contemporary media policy to cult cinema, media convergence, and television form and engagement.
The Department of Media is based in Creative Edge, a state-of-the-art £17m building offering highly contemporary suites of outstanding facilities for creative media students.
