Our Media degree examines the relationship between media, culture and society and immerses you in contemporary media practice techniques, from storytelling, photography and camera work, to the production of your own music video.
You will discover how the traditional media channels of radio, film and television have been revolutionised by social media, as well as new communication formats such as podcasting and vlogging and the ever-widening reach of streaming platforms like Spotify and Netflix.
You will have the opportunity to participate in a collaborative client-led production project and, if you wish, tailor your degree to explore the exciting forms of amateur, alternative and activist media that have emerged, flourished and entered the global consciousness.
