A strong emphasis is put on practical work and our programmes are supported by outstanding facilities, including dedicated biomechanics, physiology and psychology laboratories, a sports therapy clinic, and contemporary community leisure complex.
Our programme teams offer a comprehensive spectrum of interests and expertise. This includes coaching national teams and local clubs, collaborating with national governing bodies, and conducting consultations and scientific support with national teams and their athletes. Edge Hill University was also selected as a training camp for Olympics competitors from a number of the Pacific Islands ahead of London 2012.
