Hearing previous students’ experiences and then seeing it for real helped me make the decision to choose Edge Hill.

My father was my inspiration for studying psychology at Edge Hill. He had a mental health issue and I helped him with expressing his emotions. I made a promise to myself to help others in that similar situation.

I chose to study at Edge Hill because of its amazing campus, and past student reviews. Hearing previous students’ experiences and then seeing it for real helped me make the decision to choose Edge Hill.

Teamwork, leadership, and empathy. These are the three main skills I have developed during my psychology degree.

Being a part of a worthwhile course, making a difference and pushing beyond my limits. This has been the most memorable aspect of my experience, including leading the psychology society with my closest friend with the same goals.

My aim is to become a clinical psychologist when I graduate. Learning more about the social and developmental fields of psychology has been my favourite part of the degree.

Edge Hill has supported me intellectually and emotionally. Meeting people who are dedicated to make campus a safe and fun place to be a part of and making great friendships that will last a lifetime. This is the best thing about Edge Hill University to me.

My advice to anyone considering a psychology degree at Edge Hill would be go for it. Enjoy the learning journey and remember to embrace any opportunities which arise.
