Exploring my chosen field
With the ambition of becoming an elite sports coach, Steven completed a placement at the University of Chester Volleyball Club.
Steven employed the theories and skills he had learned during his degree and put them to use when working with some of the team’s less experience players.
Steven’s time at Chester Volleyball Coaching was aided by the support of his degree and working alongside top coaches that allowed him the opportunity to transfer his knowledge and skills into a professional industry setting.
Steven has gained essential elite level coaching experience due to successful completion of this placement.

He worked with some of our less experienced women’s players and I saw a lot more engagement in sessions as well as a notable improvement in technical ability from them.
