Biography

A Geoscientist with over 25 years working in environmental hazards, risk assessment and GIS/Remote sensing fields. I have a particular interest in the development and application of innovative and emerging technologies (for example drones, augmented reality) to Natural Hazard Management and community engagement in a range of environments and geographic settings. My research focuses mainly on regions of the Caribbean and United Kingdom, investigating the impact that major catastrophes (such as; floods, hurricanes, landslides, tsunami, earthquakes and volcanoes) have on the development of cities, the economy and the environment.
