The best thing about Edge Hill University to me is the community. The University is really supportive, from my department, the inclusion team right to the student union.

I have worked with children for a few years, and I am truly inspired to teach the youngest children. This area of learning is the foundation of all learning.

I chose Edge Hill because of the dedicated early years department and commitment to teaching.

The top skills I have developed during my degree are that I have learnt how to listen to others, how to be confident in my skills and how to be a part of a community.

One of the most memorable moments of my degree so far was when we all went out to the sports centre and there was a large range of toys spread out. The lecturers told us nothing, and we just had to get stuck in.

My favourite thing about my degree is seeing children learn.

The best thing about Edge Hill University to me is the community. The University is really supportive, from my department, the inclusion team right to the student union.

My favourite place on campus is the big trees by the main entrance, its really peaceful and beautiful.

When I graduate I hope to go into teaching and complete my 2 years Early Career Teacher.

All my lecturers have been super supportive by checking in and ensuring that I am on the right track.

The advice I would give to someone considering studying my course at Edge Hill would be to get stuck in! The children learn best from doing, so you should too.
