Biography
Nathaniel graduated from Edge Hill University in 2020 with a first class honours in BSc (Hons) Biotechnology. His dissertation looked into the effects of solar brightening (changes in light quality and quantity) on flower reflectance, petal length and nectar guide length inĀ Brassica rapa.
Nathaniel has returned to the Biology department, in January 2021, as an MRes student to continue his research into the effects of solar brightening on flowers. His MRes project will focus on the effects of solar brightening on floral attractiveness, nectar quality, pollen amino acid concentration, and timing of flowering of three agricultural crops.
