Biography

Dr Mohammed Moinuddin is a Medical Statistician by passion, by education and by profession. He obtained his PhD degree in Statistical Sciences at the University of Padova in Italy in 2020. He studied BSc (honours) and MS in Statistics as well. He loves to research statistical methodology and apply them in the field of health, biology and environmental problems. He enjoys programming in R and STATA.

Dr Moinuddin is an active researcher in the fields of Non-communicable diseases, Multimorbidity, Mental wellbeing & physical activity, Musculoskeletal injuries, Maternal & Newborn health.

Research Interests

I am interested in solving the real-life data problem raises in the fields of medicine and biology, public health, environment and social science. Statistical model building & Machine learning, Causal inference, Spatial statistics, Clinical trials, Non-communicable diseases, Musculoskeletal injury, mental wellbeing maternal and child health are the special topics of interest.

Teaching

Teaching Medical Statistics, Epidemiology, SPSS & STATA in undergraduate and postgraduate medicine programs in the EHU Medical School.
