Lisa Lalor is a highly experienced teacher, mathematics specialist, and consultant with nearly 20 years of experience in primary education. She has held various roles, including class teacher, intervention teacher, mathematics subject leader, and member of senior leadership teams. Lisa’s work as a Numbers Count teacher and her role supporting teaching assistants to deliver ECC intervention programmes have been one of the most fulfilling aspects of her career.
In her current role, Lisa works as an independent mathematics consultant, providing expert support to both children and staff in schools. Additionally, Lisa serves as a primary maths advisor with Barnet Partnership for School Improvement and Worcestershire Education and Early Years Services. Her expertise extends to her role as a lead Numicon consultant and Number Sense Maths trainer with Oxford University Press. Lisa is delighted to be an accredited ECC trainer with Edgehill University, where she enjoys the opportunity to train and inspire other educators, sharing her passion for helping children succeed in mathematics. Alongside her consultancy work, Lisa continues to support children through one-on-one or group tutoring in schools and through maths clubs.
